A Catch-Up with Tertius Wessels, Trucking Wellness Managing Director Daimler Truck Southern Africa (DTSA) and Trucking Wellness, an initiative of the National Bargaining Council for the Road Freight and Logistics Industry (NBCRFLI) have a long-standing partnership that was formed over a decade ago. Since the start of this life-changing programme, they have remained strong partners, and have been able to fulfil the programme’s mandate of “Driving the well-being of the industry” by ensuring that truck drivers have access to quality primary health care. Today, this initiative has become an essential part of combined efforts, and thousands of lives on and off the roads have benefited from it.
